The Historic District Commission of the Town of Laytonsville will conduct a public hearing on Application HDWP 02-26 for the property located at 7111 Brink Road owned by Jim & Jill Ruspi.

Application HDWP 02-26 requests a Work Permit from the Town’s Historic District Commission to enlarge and improve steps at front entrance of house with the addition of railings to make the steps and entrance safer.
Section 127.05 (a) of the Town of Laytonsville’s Zoning Ordinance requires an historic district work permit for constructing, reconstructing, moving, relocating, demolishing or in any manner modifying, changing or altering the exterior features of any designated historic site or historic resource located within the Town.

Application #HDWP 03-26 requests a Work Permit from the Town’s Historic District Commission to replace a single 29” x 51” window with a 60” x 51” twin window on the left side of the house.
Section 127 of the Town of Laytonsville’s Zoning Ordinance requires an historic area work permit for performing any grading, excavating, constructing or substantially modifying, changing or altering the environmental setting of an historic site or an historic resource that is visible or intended to be visible from a public way.
