Town Comprehensive Plan 

The Town of Laytonsville has adopted a Comprehensive Plan to guide the future development of the Town and to preserve the history of the Town. The purpose of the plan is to spell out goals and objectives for the Town's future character and appearance and provide guidance for specific land-use decisions through the Town's Zoning and Subdivision processes. The plan is required by the Annotated Code of Maryland, Land Use Article, Section 2-105(c). This plan will be reviewed at 10-year intervals. The current plan was presented by the Planning Commission at a public hearing on September 25, 2015 and adopted by the Mayor and Council on October 6, 2015.
