NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Historic District Commission of the Town of Laytonsville will conduct a public hearing on Application HDWP 01-26 for the property located at 21607 Laytonsville Road owned by The Town of Laytonsville.

Application HDWP 01-26 requests a Work Permit from the Town’s Historic District Commission to do the following porch repairs at Laytonsville Town Hall: replace rotting wooden handrails and front step treads in kind, replace broken PVC lattice under porch with new PVC lattice, replace wooden step risers and a rotting wooden fascia board beneath the porch with more durable PVC boards, replace wooden ogee fascia trim on the right side of the porch ceiling with new primed wood trim, and replace a small piece of rotting wooden soffit on that side of the porch ceiling with a piece of PVC board. Handrails will be painted white and treads will be stained to match the porch floor.
Section 127.05 (a) of the Town of Laytonsville’s Zoning Ordinance requires an historic district work permit for constructing, reconstructing, moving, relocating, demolishing or in any manner modifying, changing or altering the exterior features of any designated historic site or historic resource within the Town.
