The Family Room, Local Retail Shop Around the Corner Marks 8 Years as a Local Community Staple with Ice Cream for a Year Give Away!
The Family Room, our community Shop Around the Corner and beloved local retail shop known for its curated selection of gifts and specialty items, proudly announces its 8th anniversary. Since opening its doors in 2018, the shop has served as a cornerstone for Laytonsville residents and the surrounding Montgomery County area. The Family Room, providing unique, high-quality products, evolved from a small dream into a cherished community staple.
To thank the loyal customers who have supported their "shop around the corner" for the past eight years, The Family Room is giving away free kid’s cups on Saturday, February 21st all day from 10am to 6pm! "Reaching eight years is an incredible milestone, and we owe it entirely to our wonderful community," said Corinne Sawyer and Kim Glab, founders of The Family Room. "We wanted to celebrate this anniversary not just by looking back at our journey, but by giving back to the people who made it possible. We have curated a special collection of items and planned exclusive in-store events to celebrate with our customers."
