At its February 3 meeting the Laytonsville Town Council will solicit public comment on whether to seek a study of the possible need for and feasibility of public sewer service in Laytonsville.  Alan Soukup and Tim Williamson of the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection will be present at this meeting and can answer questions about the proposed study.

An overall five-minute limit will be placed on each individual’s comments and the time they spend posing any questions to the guests. Each individual will also be limited to asking no more than three questions. Written questions may also be submitted in advance to clerk@comcast.net, and these will also count toward the poser’s three-question limit.

This February 3 public comment period is a follow-up to the Town Council’s January 14 open meeting with Department of Environmental Protection staff. That meeting did not include any opportunity for members of the public to express views or ask questions.
