Notice of Special Town Council Meeting and Closed Session
The Mayor and Council will hold an Open Special Town Council Meeting followed by a Closed Session on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 7:30p.m. via Zoom. The purpose of the Open Session is to vote to conduct a Closed Session. The purpose of the Closed Session is to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice relative to possible amendments to the Town’s Zoning Ordinance as authorized by General Provisions Article Section 3-305(b)(7) of the Open Meetings Act. The Mayor and Council will not return to Open Session following the Closed Session.
The link to the Open Special Town Council Meeting may be obtained on the Town website by clicking on the tab “Open Special Town Council Meeting and Closed Session, October 10, 2023.” The public may observe the vote to conduct a Closed Session but cannot attend the Closed Session.
