NOTICE
A FOLLOW-UP HEARING ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE AND ESTABLISH
PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS WITH RESPECT TO REGULATING THE PARKING, STANDING OR
STOPPING OF VEHICLES UPON PUBLIC STREETS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY WITHIN THE TOWN OF
LAYTONSVILLE.
Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of Laytonsville will hold a follow-up Public Hearing starting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at the Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, to consider the addition of Sec. 9. “Damage to Right-of-Way Areas” to the proposed Ordinance as considered at the January 6, 2004 Public Hearing. Sec. 9 addresses the duty and responsibility of an owner or occupant to maintain the abutting unpaved right-of-way surface area in a reasonable and safe condition free from obstruction, holes, indentations and ruts.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance and Resolutions are available at the Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the Hearing on February 3, 2004.
