TOWN OF LAYTONSVILLE

NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing on an amendment to the Town Zoning Ordinance to:

¨ Enact New Section 131 entitled "Site Development Plans" so as to require under limited circumstances the approval of a Site Development Plan by the Mayor and Town Council prior to the issuance of building permits; and

¨ Renumber existing Sections 131, 132 and 133 of the Zoning Ordinance; and

¨ Amend renumbered Section 133, entitled "Violations and Penalties" to delete misdemeanor penalties for violations of Zoning Ordinance and designate said violations as Municipal Infractions; and

¨ Amend renumbered Section 134 to provide for appeals and procedures for appeals of decisions of the Town Board of Appeals and Town Planning Commission.

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of the Town of Laytonsville will hold a Public Hearing commencing on September 7, 2010 at 7:40 p.m. at Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, Maryland to consider:

A Zoning Text Amendment to establish a requirement that a site development plan be approved for any land which has received final subdivision or resubdivision plan approval by the Town Planning Commission before issuance of any building permit for building and/or structures on said land; and further to provide filing requirements, procedures, standards and penalties related to site development plan approvals.

Copies of the Zoning Text Amendment are available at Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the hearing.
