NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing on an amendment to the Town Zoning Ordinance to enact new Section 134, entitled “Town Planning Commission” so as to establish the Planning Commission for the Town of Laytonsville.

            Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of the Town of Laytonsville will hold a Public Hearing commencing on September 7, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, Maryland to consider:

            A Zoning Text Amendment to establish the Town Planning Commission pursuant to Article 66B, Annotated Code of Maryland for the composition, appointment and removal of members of the Commission, operational requirements, powers and duties, commission decisions and appeals therefrom and necessary transition provisions.

            Copies of the Zoning Text Amendment are available at Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the hearing.
