NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Mayor and Council will hold Public Hearings beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 to receive public comment on the following:

• A proposed Ordinance to amend the Town of Laytonsville, Maryland’s Building Permit Ordinance (Ordinance No. 9-52-1, as amended on May 7, 1981, September 1, 1981 and August 5, 2003) so as to authorize and require the posting of a bond or other security when issuing building permits where damage to Town of public property or public rights-of-way may occur; and

• A proposed Ordinance to establish procedures and regulations with respect to regulating elections within the Town of Laytonsville.

The Public Hearings will be at the Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, Maryland. Copies of the proposed Ordinances will be available at the Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the hearings.
