TOWN OF LAYTONSVILLE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Mayor and Council will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday,

August 3, 2004 at the Laytonsville Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road to correct the Forest Conservation Ordinance re-adopted May 4, 2004 to Repeal and Reenact with Amendments the Town’s Forest Conservation Ordinance to include the following in order to conform to current State law:

Page 4, Section II, 2.21 of the Forest Conservation Ordinance (Forest Conservation Manual) to include current version. The current version is the 3^rd Edition by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and to strike reference to the 1995 State technical manual.

Page 10, Section III, 3.2 H of the Forest Conservation Ordinance (Application) to be revised to read “A residential construction activity that is conducted on an existing single lot of any size . . . “

Copies of the Forest Conservation Ordinance will be at the Hearing and can be obtained at the Town Hall.
