NOTICE
HEARING ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE AND ESTABLISH PROCEDURES
AND REGULATIONS WITH RESPECT TO REGULATING THE PARKING, STANDING OR STOPPING OF
VEHCILES UPON PUBLIC STREETS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY WITHIN THE TOWN OF LAYTONSVILLE
Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of Laytonsville will hold a Public Hearing starting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, to consider:
An ordinance to regulate parking, standing and stopping of vehicles in the Town of Laytonsville and is intended to be in addition to and supplementary to the provisions of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and in accordance with authority specifically granted by such article. The Town government can establish zones of no or restricted parking within the Town limits; the parking of trailers and unregistered motor vehicles with the Town limits; the ability to establish civil penalties and fines for parking violations; and the authorization to establish a code enforcement officer.
A copy of the Ordinance and Resolutions are available at the Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the Town Hall and at the Hearing on January 6, 2004.
