NOTICE
HEARINGS ON ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT AND SUBDIVISION
REGULATION AMENDMENT APPLICATIONS
Notice is hereby given that
the Mayor and Council of Laytonsville will hold Public Hearings starting at 7:30
p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 in the undercroft of St. Bartholomew’s Church,
21611 Laytonsville Road, to consider:
The Zoning Text Amendment
filed by the Stadler Family to create an R3 Zone including optional cluster
provisions and the uses and development standards for such zone previously
adopted by the Mayor and Council on April 1, 2003 will be reconsidered and
subject to new public hearings on this date; and
A Proposed Amendment of Text
of Zoning Ordinance filed by the Mayor and Town Council to Repeal and Reenact
with Amendments Sec. 115 of said Zoning Ordinance to Provide for the creation
of a Board of Appeals, the powers, duties and functions of the board with
reference to special exceptions, variances and appeals of administrative
decisions and orders as set forth in Sec. 4.07 of Article 66B, Annotated Code
of Maryland and to provide for Appeals to Courts as set forth in Sec. 4.08 of
Article 66B; and
An Ordinance filed by the
Mayor and Town Council to Amend Section 27 of the Town of Laytonsville
Subdivision Regulations to Provide Sewerage Disposal Location Requirements on
Lots approved by Subdivision.
Copies of the Text Amendment
are available at the Town Hall during regular business hours and will be
available at the hearing.
