NOTICE

WORK SESSIONS

The Mayor and the Council will hold Work Sessions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 and March 25, 2003 in the Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, Maryland to discuss the following:

The Text Amendment Application dated and submitted January 21, 2003 by the Stadler Family to create an R3 zone including the uses and standards for such zone.

The Text Amendment Application dated and submitted January 20, 2003 by K.J. Tucker to revise various sections of the Zoning Ordinance and to create certain new zones, create a Board of Appeals and establish additional standards and requirements relating to existing and proposed new zoning districts.

According to the Maryland Annotated Code, Work Sessions must generally be open to the public. Citizens and the media are welcome as observers but may not participate unless called upon as resource persons.

Copies of the Text Amendment Applications will be at the Work Session and can be obtained from the Town Hall.
