Minutes of Town Council meetings & work sessions
Town Committee Meeting Minutes

The minutes of town council meetings and town council work sessions will be posted here after the minutes have been approved by the town council at the town council meeting.  Approval of minutes and subsequent posting of the minutes to this web site will be approximately 30-45 days after each meeting.  Community members wishing to review the unapproved draft minutes of a recent town council meeting may visit the town clerk during normal hours to obtain a copy.

Many work sessions are conducted immediately before town council meetings. Minutes from the work session and the regular town council meeting on the same night have been merged into one minutes document. Work sessions conducted on dates independent of the town council meetings have independent meeting minute documents.

Minutes of Town Council meetings from December 2002 forward  and minutes from Town Council work sessions from June 2003 are posted here. Minutes from meetings prior to December 2002 can be obtained from the town clerk.

The Historic District Commission - The Historic District Commission was created by Ordinance No. 06-03 which set forth powers and duties of the commission and provided generally for regulations and standards for the preservation of historic areas. This Ordinance was approved by the Town Council on August 5, 2003. The Commission consists of five members appointed by the Mayor and Council.

Citizens Advisory Board - The Citizens Advisory Board is advisory in nature. Originally formed in July of 2003, their mission was to review the then present Comprehensive Plan, make suggestions, adjust and/or revise the plan or develop a new plan. The first Citizens Advisory Board was retired in November 2004. Minutes from March 2004 until the board's retirement are available from the town clerk. The Citizen Advisory Board was reactivated in the summer of 2007 and is chartered to draft a new comprehensive land plan for the town. The board is expected to complete it's work in early 2008.
