presented. Motion was accepted
unanimously.

The reading of the preliminary statement was dispensed with since there were no
cases on the agenda.
New Business:
Chair Wenger
notified the Members that the current Recording Secretary, Nadine Tarwater,
will have to step down from her duties due to her current work load. Ms. P. Sterling has volunteered to
temporarily assist the HDC until a new Recording Secretary can be found.
Old Business:
General Contractor for the Firehouse Mr. L. Romano presented to the HDC the general plans for the new doors and elevation in preparation for the hearing in July. The Firehouse doors need to be modified to accommodate new equipment. Mr. Romano provided the HDC with examples and explanations of the type of materials to be used and an indication of what the new structure entail. The hearing is scheduled for July 21, 2008.
Citizen’s Advisory Board had a meeting and agreed to request the assistance of the HDC. The Comprehensive Plan needs to be reviewed to better address the future of commercial property located in the Historic District Commission.
Chair Wenger discussed possible dates for a working session of the HDC.
Chair Wenger advised the HDC that there are term extensions for herself and Member Howes. Chair Wenger will continue to be the Chair of the HDC and Member Ruspi has been nominated as Vice Chair.
Chair Wenger advised the HDC that she has been in contact with NV Homes regarding one of the houses being built in the HDC which contained the wrong types of windows. Dwight Hurst of NV Homes advised Chair Wenger that the windows would be changed as well as the roof on the garage. Lot 2 is in the process of being built, and Lot 5 has been sold (but is outside of the HDC).
The HDC has not heard from Mr. Brian Davilla but there is a basic clean up in progress.
Adjourn :
There being no further business, Member Ruspi made the motion to adjourn the
meeting which was seconded by Member Howes.
Motion carried unanimously. The
meeting adjourned at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Nadine Tarwater
