  • 4.      Discussion of how to proceed with consideration of revisions to the town’s historic district design guidelines in light of the thoughts presented at the October meeting by invited guest Tyler Smith
  • 5.      Report from Member Ruspi on her work on a new brochure about the historic district commission for town residents, followed by discussion
  • 6.      Report from Chair Hendricks on the presentation made before the Mayor and Council on November 5 by Chris Alleva, a zoning consultant, on the desire of individuals he was assisting to purchase and redevelop the gas station property at 21625 Laytonsville Road, followed by discussion
  • 7.      Open forum on Laytonsville historic preservation issues
  • 8.      Reminder that the commission’s next regular monthly meeting is scheduled for December 16
  • 9.      Adjournment

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Historic District Commission of the Town of Laytonsville will conduct a public hearing on Application #HDC 04-19 for the property located at 7329 Brink Road filed by Rigoberto Fuentes on:

Monday

November 18, 2019

7:00 p.m.

At the Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, Maryland

Application #HDC 04-19 requests a Work Permit from the Town’s Historic District Commission for restoration and widening of the driveway, a brick and stone patio, and a movable metal gazebo for the property located at 7329 Brink Road.

Section 127 of the Town of Laytonsville’s Zoning Ordinance requires an historic area work permit for performing any grading, excavating, constructing or substantially modifying, changing or altering the environmental setting of an historic site or an historic resource that is visible or intended to be visible from a public way. 

Copies of the proposal will be available at the Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the hearing.
