NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Historic District Commission of the Town of Laytonsville will conduct a public hearing on Application #HDC 02-18 for the property located at 21611 Laytonsville Road filed by St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church on:

Monday

March 19, 2018

7:00 p.m.

At the Town Hall, 21607 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, Maryland

Application #HDC 02-18 requests a Work Permit from the Town’s Historic District Commission to remove and replace the slate roof with in kind slate roofing, to remove the flue chimney, adn to remove and replace the flat roof on the addition with in kind materials at 21615 Laytonsville Road.

Section 127.04 of the Town of Laytonsville’s Zoning Ordinance requires an historic area work permit for work on public or private property which would affect the historic, archaeological or architectural significance of a designated historic resource, any portion of which is visible or intended to be visible from a public way.  Copies of the proposal will be available at the Town Hall during regular business hours and will be available at the hearing.
