Approved Minutes

The meeting opened at 7:30pm.  Present are, Brendan Deyo, Peter Stadler, David Preusch and Chairman Eric Wenger. The minutes from the December 2008 meeting were not available.

Using the suggestions that Mr. Nortrup made the members of the CAB reviewed the draft plan inserting the changes provided by Mr. Nortrup.

The population and land use figures given in the current plan do not meet with the requirements of 66b, or add up correctly.  These numbers need to be confirmed with the Town and inserted properly.  The land use figures need to specifically state what the actual acreage is and for what use (ie: agriculture, park, residential etc).

Reference to the school having been renovated and scheduled for re-opening in June of 1990 was removed.

The acreage for the Commercial Zone needs to be confirmed.  This acreage should include any existing commercial zoning in the Historic District.

Mr. Stadler will meet with the Mayor and the Town Clerk to confirm the numbers reflected in the tables and correct for accuracy.

The plan will need to include potential annexation areas, the projected number of residential units, open space, agriculture, parks, etc.  The potential impact on the water, sewer and impact to public resources needs to be included in the plan.

The next meeting will be February 24, 2009.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm
