Minutes

January 15, 2008

The meeting opened at 7:40pm. In attendance are Eric Wenger, Pete Stadler and Brendon Deyo. The meeting schedule for the 2008 session have been distributed. The minutes from the December meeting were approved.

Discussion began with the Water Resources element. Since the state wants outcomes based on several different possibilities it would be beneficial to contact the state and get the software to input the data available. This would satisfy the requirement for the 10, 20 and 30 year projections.

Mr. Stadler reported that he has most of the figures necessary for the green space projections.

It was discussed that the Town should maintain control of preservation areas such as ponds and green spaces. It should be reccomended that an economic cost analysis be conducted to determine the long term cost will be to the town. It would be of benefit to keep areas as natural habitat.

The property located on 6920 Sundown Rd., should be included in any future annexation plans. Mr. Stadler believes there is a preservation easement on the property, and if so should continued upon annexation.

After brief discussion regarding the re-ordering of the sections of the Comprehensive Plan the meeting was adjourned at 8:24pm
