LAYTONSVILLE BOARD OF APPEALS

MEETING MINUTES February 1, 2010 - 7:30 p.m.

Roll Call:

A meeting of the Laytonsville Board of Appeals was called to order by the Chair, Jake Cecere, at 7:30 p.m. Board Members Sladki, Pomeroy, Stadler, and Hewitt were present. Alternate Member Whittington was not present.

Minutes

Chair Cecere submitted the minutes for the meeting of January 4, 2010. Member Sladki proposed the motion to accept the minutes which was seconded by Member Pomeroy. The motion was passed unanimously and the minutes approved.

Old Business

Special Exception Renewal for the Monopole located at 21400 Laytonsville Road. Mr. Ryan Gaskell, President, Laytonsville Volunteer Fire Department attended the meeting to answer questions and to provide any background information.

The Board Member studied the previous exception and determined that there was an outstanding concern regarding equipment located on the Monopole which may not be in use. President Gaskell informed the Board that he would look into the situation to identify which equipment needs to be removed. President Gaskell will notify the Board in writing providing an update of the situation.

Chair Cecere asked if there was a motion to table the Fire Department's request until the March 1, 2010, meeting. The motion was proposed by Member Pomeroy and seconded by Member Sladki. The motion passed unanimously.

New Business:

None.

Adjourn

There being no further business, Chair Cecere made a motion to adjourn the meeting which was seconded by Member Sladki and passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
