LAYTONSVILLE BOARD OF APPEALS

MEETING  MINUTES January 4,2010 - 7:30 p.m.

Roll Call:

A meeting of the Laytonsville Board of Appeals was called to order by the Chair, Jake Cecere, at 7:30 p.m. Board Members Sladki, Pomeroy, Stadler, and Hewitt were present. Alternate Member Whittington was not present.

Minutes

Chair Cecere submitted the minutes for the meeting of December 7, 2009. Member Sladki proposed the motion to accept the minutes which was seconded by Member Pomeroy. The motion was passed unanimously and the minutes approved.

None

New Business:

Notification from Clarke Beall received regarding proposed Letter of December 29, 2009, from Laytonsville Fire Department located at 21400 Laytonsville Road, requesting extension of Special Exception. Letter was not received before BoA meeting scheduled for January 4, 2010. The Fire Department will need to provide a formal request for an extension including information as to whether the equipment not in use which was to be removed from the monopole was actually removed.

Member Stadler also brought to the attention of the Board that the screening was removed, and some type of new screening should be put in place between the Fire Station and neighboring properties.

Adjourn

There being no further business, a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Member Sladki, seconded by Member Hewitt and passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:55 p.m.
