BOARD
OF APPEALS
Draft Minutes
for January 8, 2007
The
monthly meeting of the Laytonsville Board of Appeals was called to order by Chair
Jake Cecere at 7:30 in the Laytonsville Town Hall. Members Jim Ruspi, Peter Stadler, Francis Hewitt, and Joseph
Sladki were present. Recording
Secretary Jill Ruspi and Mayor Oland were present.
Chair
Cecere asked if the Board Members read the minutes from the December 4, 2006
meeting. Each member stated that he
read the minutes. Chair Cecere stated
that his name was misspelled. Member Stadler
made a motion to accept the minutes as corrected. Member Ruspi seconded, and the minutes were unanimously approved.
Old Business
No
old business was presented.
New Business
The
Chairman reported that the application filed by Kathleen A. Maroney that was to
be discussed at a Hearing was withdrawn by the applicant. The property, located at 21415 Laytonsville
Road and owned by Merritt and Dorothy Techter, has another contract pending on
it.
Member
Ruspi asked the Chairman if the Board has a specific procedure for a meeting
during which there is one (or more) Hearings.
The Chair suggested that he would follow this order of business: open the business meeting, conduct the
Hearing, close the Hearing.
There
being no other business, Member Sladki made a motion to adjourn. Member Ruspi seconded, and the meeting was
adjourned by unanimous vote at 8:45 p.m.
The
next Board meeting will be at 7:30 in the Town Hall on Monday, February 5, 2007.
Respectively
submitted,
Jill
S. Ruspi, Secretary
